this refers not to a physical shield but to a shield that will protect you from people that want to change your ways or that are dissin you in any way but as long as you are within yourself and hang on to your own principles you will be fine
i sould be pleased to meet a man in the woods. i wish he were to be encountered like wild cribous and moose
i guess that what this means is that he wouldnt mind encountering a human being in the woods as long ir it was a rare encounter such as the ones you have with moose and animals like that.....
